I love stationery. Whenever I go shopping, I pass by a stationary section. I feel like spending a lot of time there because there are a variety of things and are so colorful. It makes me very happy! I have a good collection of stationery you know. ๐
Recently, When I was rearranging my study table, I was reminded of my childhood. Whenever my summer vacation would be coming to an end, my mom used to take my brother and me to our favorite stationery store as my dad used to be very busy. I used to love the smell of books, which I still do. I used to buy a new pencil box, ink pens, a school bag, binding sheets, etc. I was very particular about my stationery.
The routine for the day would be shopping, and then the three of us would sit together, bind, and label the books as soon as we came home. It used to be so much fun! We also used to write the language we are going to use the book for on the edges of all the pages by holding all the pages together. (Have you all done this?) After binding all the books, we used to neatly set our books and stationery in the bag. Along with the uniform, I used to take it up a notch and iron the ribbon that goes on my hair and the belt too! ๐ I have always been very neat and organized.
The love for stationery will never die. There was an incident that my brother still teases me about. Whenever I travel, when I stay in a hotel room, there is always a notepad and a pen/pencil. So, when I vacate the room, I always take the pencils along with me. I have plenty of them. My brother teases me by calling me a thief. He says that we pay thousand/lakhs to stay at a hotel and you steal 5-10 rs pencil. I defend myself saying that they are kept for guests, thatโs why I take it. We still havenโt settled the argument yet. What do you all think? Am I a thief?
