Being comfortable in your own skin makes you confident so, BE YOU, whether you’re thin, chubby or fat, short, tall. Everything will seem like a problem as long as you see it as a problem. Dress according to your body type and personal preferences. Being comfortable is what makes you confident and can bring that radiating smile on your face. That one has the power to change and win anything and everything.
I dress up only while shooting because my role requires me to do so. When I’m at home, I prefer to roam around in my pajamas and flip flops. It’s the most comfortable thing ever. When I go out for press meets and interviews I make sure I wear something simple and comfortable and I apply very minimal makeup or sometimes only Kajal and lip balm. I’m a normal girl just like you. Even I have insecurities just like everybody else. It could either be about my skin or my weight. Sometimes I worry that I’m losing my hair due to excessive travelling and change of water.
Never compare yourselves with others because not everybody is brought up in the same environment. The other person’s body type, dressing style, food intake might be completely different from yours. They may not be confident about the same things as you. You’re unique and strong in your own way. We all have insecurities but there is at least one thing we are all confident about so figure it out. Don’t let anyone or anything lower your self-esteem. Be confident about what you are because everybody is good at something.
