People shape up to be who they are, depending on their experiences, fears, etc. Kids grasp things they see or listen to. Similarly, they adopt a lot of things from their childhood, whether it be a good or bad habit; It can be from drinking milk to their eating habits, sitting posture to the way they communicate. The incidents they experience as kids majorly impact them; it will stay in their minds forever. For instance, fear of a particular place or a thing, happiness, or any other emotion. Their dreams and goals are influenced by the people surrounding them, movies, and television in general. As a kid, I too had dreamt of lots of things. I managed to fulfill some, and some are still yet to be fulfilled.
One of my dreams was inspired by a Telugu Series I used to watch with my mother during my childhood days. I was only allowed to watch TV if I finished my school homework. I recall watching a serial named ‘ Alavkika’. It was one of my most cherished memories. The female character in the series played a rather strong personality. She played the role of a troubled person who wanted some time alone. I don’t recall why she was upset, but I remember how she wanted to just escape for a while. She one day just broke all her mobiles by smashing them to the wall, packed necessary stuff, and drove off in an open van. She traveled, ate, and enjoyed it all by herself!
After I saw the open van,😍I started fantasizing about traveling around in a jeep! The jeep she was driving had big, thick and black tires 😍. She was driving amidst a lot of greenery and was dressed up so well. I was so fascinated by how independent she was that I thought about how when I grew up, I would also go on drives alone like her. However, as I grew up, I realized it wasn’t a practical thing to do as it was a dangerous world out there…which is horrible! But as a child, that part was the most memorable one.
I love to travel and explore too. Now I too desire to buy an open jeep and travel all by myself with some money and a backpack! To feel free like a bird. I’ve had a great experience while traveling, I have gone on countless trips with my family and friends, But I’ve never traveled alone like that. Maybe one day I might travel like that; Maybe one day my mother will let me go and travel all by myself; But for now, it’s just a dream, waiting to be turned into reality.
