After several years in showbiz, I finally got some me time. Since I’m not allowed to step out of home, all I can do is roam around the house! I climbed up to the terrace, stood there, inundated with so many thoughts. The Sun looked brighter than ever. A ray of hope during these dark times. The erratic climate shifts are too much for me to comprehend, so I’d like to call it Summer for now! While the world is falling apart, nature brings solace to my soul. It made me feel as though there is still hope, hope for a brighter tomorrow.
I looked around to get a good view of my surroundings and caught two pigeons kissing!🙈 Being the troublemaker I am, my first instinct was to run to get a hold of the pigeons but I didn’t want to ruin their private moment! he he 🥰. We’ve had a lot of pigeons in our area for as long as I can remember. Sometimes, they make these cute chirping noises. Maybe that’s how they communicate and gossip with each other.
I walked over to the parapet, spread some grains hoping those two pigeons would come. Yes, they did 😁. During the Summer, birds get thirsty quite often, so I fill up a lotus pond with water for the birds to halt and rest. This will also make your terrace/front yard look beautiful. I absolutely love to decorate my terrace with different kinds of flowering plants. It is a delight to watch the birds gently spread their wings, dive into the pond and take a nice bath!
Watching the cute pigeons made me realize there’s beauty all around us and I can do a lot more than just complain about not being able to go out. We don’t have to travel to a hill station just to experience the beauty of nature.
