Mysore, the second most popular city and my second favourite city in Karnataka is known for its tourist attractions. I’ve visited Mysore countless times, stayed there for months during my childhood, visited zoos, and famous eat-outs. I visited the Chamundi temple and the Mysore Palace, been there for shoots, but I somehow missed visiting the famous Sand Sculpture Museum. The Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum is the first Sand Sculpture Museum in India. It is located near Chamundi Hills and is the brainchild of a young woman sculptor supported by her parents.
Better late than never, last year I decided to visit this exquisite museum and here it is – My picture souvenir. I was spellbound by all the beautiful sculptures inside. Clicking pictures inside will cost you a ticket but however, the tickets are very affordable.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT MISS this place if you are in Mysore! It is a must-see for all the art enthusiasts out there. These pictures are just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty of sculptures which include Egyptian mummies, cartoon, peacocks, Santa Claus, and much more. There are shopping stalls in and around the museum to keep you entertained too! It is a simple yet elegant place. I appreciate the eye for detail and the sheer amount of hard work put in by the artist to create all the wonderful masterpieces. I had a lovely time here and I hope you all enjoy your visit too! Support the artist by visiting this place the next time you visit Mysore!

Hi hariprriya gaaru, you have been telling your personal stories and incidents….. but I have some hilarious incident with “YOU”…… that I would like to share….
During Rikki movie promotion you came to Sangam talkies in Mysore….to see you for the first time face to face, I also have came to the Sangam talkies…. but you were on your way to go back in your XUV 500….. by the time I reached, your car was near the entrance gate of the Sangam theatre and you just stared particularly at me (actually no one was there around me) while I was just standing besides the gate…..as if though I’m some kind of freak 😂😂😂😂😂…..may be you don’t remember, but I laugh whenever this incident comes across my mind
