This is about a memory that took place during the initial days of my career. I was shooting for a Kannada movie, I do not want to reveal the name of the movie or the team details, but it required me to travel to different parts of the world. I have always loved traveling and exploring, so you can imagine how excited I must’ve been when I learned I was going to visit the seven wonders of the world. However, as they laid down the conditions, I could not help but disagree with one.
They told me that they could accommodate a ticket for me, but not my mother as the team consisted of a lot of members, and arranging a ticket for her too would exceed the budget! I had never traveled without my mother and was so young…How could I travel the world without her? She was my safety blanket! I also wanted her to enjoy and explore with me. I just had to take her! So I insisted that she came along with me. They finally agreed on one condition; They told me if I wanted my mother to come along, they would need to buy all her tickets out of my remuneration. I instantly agreed! As long as my Mom comes with me, I’m okay with it. She’s more important to me.
So the journey began! We first touched down in Agra to shoot at the monument of love, Taj Mahal. It was just as beautiful as people said! We shot a scene in front of the Taj Mahal. It was an amazing experience!

We then traveled to Jordan to see Petra. It was a mesmerizing sight! It looks very sunny and bright but I was freezing cold. Look at me in the picture , how I have covered myself. Haha! Did you know that I was even proposed to for marriage multiple times in Jordan? I’ll tell you all about it in tomorrow’s article.

Anyway, the next wonder we visited was the colosseum in Rome! It was exciting because I was told that in ancient times, the games used to take place over here, between animals and human beings. They used to kill each other for a sport. Knowing that there was so much bloodshed for entertainment makes me sad. I also saw a bride in a beautiful white gown and the groom marching in the road with a group of people towards church for their Christian wedding.

Nevertheless, The next one on the list was Paris, but unfortunately, I couldn’t go because I was not a part of that scene and also had to rush back to be a part of another shoot.
I could not spend a lot of time exploring because of the shoot. The only time we would explore was during the breaks , but we did a lot of shopping in all the countries and also explored various cuisines throughout the trip. The production had promised us that we’d visit all the wonders of the world, but alas we couldn’t. It was a fun trip while it lasted, and I would like to thank the team for making few possible. I plan to visit the other wonders soon.
