We, actors, must live up to our words. Once we accommodate a date for the shoot, we need to be at the location to shoot no matter what because one person should not be responsible for changing the whole plan. But, everyone has one of those days where we are not in the mood to work, and I did too! I was once shooting in a beautiful hill station, Araku Valley for a film. The weather made me want to just rest and laze around. 😴
But, it was a busy day at shoot as we were shooting for a song sequence. After a while, I think God heard my prayers . The sky became very cloudy. Due to the lack of proper light, I thought that they would wind up for the day. I was so happy. I wanted it to rain! I know what you all are thinking!🙈 But I just needed my bed! I could hear it call out to me! Alas, that did not happen. Turns out, my choreographer is very smart. She came up with a backup plan and moved us around the hill to where there was sunlight.
She kept moving us around until we finished shooting the song. We ended up working until pack up. Sometimes, someone’s smartness can lead to someone else’s inconvenience.
Recreating the retro hit ‘Nuvvu Naa Mundunte’ from Gudachari 116 for my film ‘Galata’. I had so much fun shooting! Take a look!
